Bet on the sports Filipinos love most — PBA and NBA basketball, volleyball, boxing, esports, and international football — all with live in-play odds, in Philippine Peso, from any device.
For players 21 and above only. Sports outcomes are never guaranteed.
Sports betting in the Philippines has always been closely connected to the sports culture here — basketball above everything else, followed by boxing, volleyball, and a growing passion for football and esports. 888plh reflects that reality in how the sports section is built. The coverage prioritises the events Filipino bettors actually care about, rather than throwing hundreds of obscure international markets at users and hoping something sticks.
For PBA fans in Manila and across the country, 888plh covers Philippine Basketball Association games across all conference formats — Philippine Cup, Commissioner's Cup, and Governors' Cup. NBA coverage is equally strong, spanning the regular season, playoffs, and the Finals. Betting markets go well beyond simple moneyline picks: you can bet on point spreads, totals, team statistics, and individual player performance lines depending on the game and the market available at tip-off.
Live in-play betting is one of the most popular features in the sports section. Rather than committing to a pick before a game starts, live betting lets you watch the action unfold and place bets as the game progresses — reacting to early runs, momentum shifts, or foul trouble on key players. Odds update in real time throughout the game, giving you the flexibility to find value as situations develop on the court or field.
All bets are placed in Philippine Peso, all odds are presented in a decimal format that is easy to read, and all winnings go directly to your 888plh PHP balance the moment the event settles. There is no currency conversion and no separate wallets for different sports — just one account that handles everything cleanly.
Odds shown are illustrative samples only and are not live quotes.

Live in-play betting is where the sports section on 888plh really comes into its own. Rather than committing all your picks before tip-off or kickoff, live betting lets you watch how the game is playing out and place wagers as the action unfolds. This is particularly popular for basketball games — a sport where momentum swings frequently, and a team that looked dominant at the start of the second quarter can look completely different ten minutes later.
On 888plh, live odds for in-progress games update continuously. When a PBA team goes on an unexpected run, the spread lines move immediately to reflect the new balance of the game. When a key player fouls out in an NBA playoff game, the total lines adjust. These real-time updates create opportunities for bettors who are watching closely and can recognise value that the market has not yet fully priced in.
Live betting is also available on football — where mid-game odds shift based on goals, red cards, and penalty events — as well as esports matches, where momentum in a Mobile Legends or Dota 2 game can swing rapidly between teams. The 888plh mobile interface handles live betting well on smaller screens: odds are clearly displayed and bet placement is quick, so you are not scrambling to tap through multiple menus while the game is moving.
Different bettors prefer different ways to approach a game. 888plh offers a range of standard and advanced bet types across the covered sports so you can bet in a way that matches how you analyse games.
The simplest bet — pick which team or player will win. Moneyline odds reflect the probability of each outcome and the payout you receive if your pick is correct.
A point handicap is applied to the favourite team to level the betting field. A popular format in Philippine basketball betting — the stronger team must win by more than the spread for the bet to pay.
Bet on whether the total combined score — or total goals, rounds, or maps — will be over or under a line set by the sportsbook. Very common in basketball and football markets on 888plh.
Combine multiple selections into a single bet. All selections must be correct for the bet to win, but the odds multiply — giving significantly higher potential returns than individual single bets.
Available on selected matches, player proposition bets let you wager on individual performance metrics — points scored, assists, rebounds, or other statistical outcomes for specific players within a game.
The 888plh sports section is fully accessible on Android and iOS — both through the browser and the dedicated app. Odds, live markets, bet slip, and account management all work the same on mobile as on desktop. Whether you are watching a PBA game from home in Quezon City or following an NBA final in a café in Cebu, your sports bets are just a few taps away.
Basketball sits at the top of the Philippine sports hierarchy by a significant margin. PBA games are followed closely across the country — from Manila to Davao to Cebu — and 888plh reflects that by providing comprehensive betting coverage of PBA fixtures rather than limiting it to a handful of marquee games. You can find markets for regular season matchups as well as the knockout stages where competition intensifies and the games attract the biggest betting volumes.
Volleyball has seen a remarkable rise in popularity over the past several years, driven partly by strong social media engagement from PVL teams and the sustained success of Filipino national teams in SEAG competition. The 888plh sports section includes PVL matches during the conference season, with standard match winner and set-based markets available for covered fixtures.
Boxing occupies a historically significant place in Philippine national identity, and major international bouts — particularly when Filipino fighters are involved at world championship level — consistently generate significant betting interest. The coverage on 888plh includes those landmark fights plus the broader international boxing calendar.
Esports is the fastest-growing segment. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has one of the most engaged Philippine player and spectator communities in all of Southeast Asia. The MPL PH league season generates consistent betting interest from Filipino fans who follow individual teams and players closely throughout the regular season and into the playoffs. 888plh includes MPL PH as a featured esports property alongside international titles like Dota 2 major events and League of Legends tournaments.
Every sports bet on 888plh carries the risk of losing the amount you wagered. No betting system, strategy, or past winning streak guarantees future results — sports outcomes are inherently unpredictable. Always set a clear budget before you start betting, decide the maximum you are prepared to lose in a session, and stop when you reach that limit regardless of whether you are ahead or behind.
Online sports betting on 888plh is for adults aged 21 and above only. If betting starts to feel out of control or is affecting your finances, relationships, or mental wellbeing, deposit limits and self-exclusion tools are available directly from your account settings.
